Sophie Howard (born 24 February 1983) is an English glamour model from Southport, England. She appears regularly on Page Three and in men's magazines, such as Maxim, Nuts and Loaded. In August 2005, Howard was voted 73rd in the FHM UK "100 Sexiest Women" poll. In the 2006 poll, she rose to 68th place.

Howard was born and raised in Southport, England. She attended Christ the King Catholic High school and was in the Salvation Army until she was 16. At 17, she became a stripper, a "rubbish" one:

I'd go on the stage, dance around a bit, get my tits out, then get off. Well, with lapdancing, you had to put in three minutes, but if the guy was a bit minging, you made it last one-and-a-half. Howard studied English at Edge Hill University. During this time, she signed to the IMM modelling agency, and appeared in the magazine.

Howard subsequently signed a contract with Loaded, resulting in a relationship advice column and a regular feature called "Sophie's Choice". As of 2006, Howard has been signed to Nuts magazine for about 18 months. In 2006, Sophie's management of IMM signed an exclusive 12 month deal—for 2007—with Dennis publishing for Sophie to frequently feature in Maxim and Bizarre.

In 2009 Howard returned to Edge Hill University, to study for a degree in mental health nursing. She retired from modelling in December 2011, to allow her to focus solely on her studies.

Whilst studying at Sixth Form, Howard was diagnosed with Lupus Erythematosus, a condition affecting the immune system.

Shiri Freda Appleby (born December 7, 1978) is an American film and television actress. Shiri Appleby is best known for her leading role as Liz Parker in the television series Roswell. Her film credits include A Time for Dancing, where Shiri Appleby was one of the two female main characters; Swimfan; Havoc with Anne Hathaway; and Charlie Wilson's War with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts.

In 2008, Appleby joined the cast of the final season of ER, playing an intern named Daria Wade, and starred in the CW drama Life Unexpected as Cate Cassidy. Life Unexpected was cancelled in its second season. Shiri Appleby is currently starring as Lucy in the comedy, Dating Rules from My Future Self.

Appleby was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Dina (née Bouader), a Hebrew school teacher, and Jerry Appleby, a telecommunications executive. Her mother is Israeli-born and of Sephardic Moroccan Jewish background, and her father is an American Jew. In Hebrew, shiri means either "my song" or simply "sing." She and her younger brother Evan were raised in Calabasas in Los Angeles County. She has a scar above her left eyebrow, which resulted from a dog bite when she was young. To get over her fear of dogs, she went on the show Emergency Vets, accompanying staff veterinarian Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald (she also overcame another phobia in the same episode by holding a live snake, one of Fitzgerald's patients) and shortly after adopted a Tabby, which she named Abby. Appleby graduated from Calabasas High School in 1997 and went on to major in English literature at the University of Southern California while also studying theater arts.

Appleby began her acting career at the age of four, starting with advertisements for various products such as Cheerios and M&M's. Her first advertisement was for Raisin Bran but it was never aired. She made guest appearances on many television programs, most notably thirtysomething (1987), Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989), ER (1994), Baywatch (1989), Xena: Warrior Princess (1995), 7th Heaven (1997), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), before landing her break-out role in the series Roswell (1999-2002), for which she tried out for the roles of both Isabel and Maria before landing the leading role of Liz Parker.

Appleby also featured in a number of music videos, such as Bon Jovi's video for "It's My Life" with Will Estes, and the 2004 video for the song "I Don't Want To Be" by Gavin DeGraw, opposite Scott Mechlowicz. She also appeared in Sense Field's music video for "Save Yourself" which is part of the Roswell soundtrack and featured in the first season DVD boxset.

In 2006, she took a recurring role on the short-lived ABC drama Six Degrees as Anya, a young assistant in a relationship with a much older photographer. Later that year she was chosen to play Hildy Young in the new USA Network series To Love and Die, that began airing in late December 2008. She also participated in a short film called Carjacking directed by Dan Passman and co-starring Geoff Stults.

In 2007, she appeared in the movie What Love Is alongside Cuba Gooding Jr., Matthew Lillard and Anne Heche. She also participated in another short film, Love Like Wind, from Shaolin Film Productions. At the end the year, she appeared as Charlie Wilson's press secretary in the film Charlie Wilson's War, which stars Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. In 2008, Appleby got a recurring role on the 15th and final season of ER, being her second time on the show, playing an intern named Daria Wade.

Appleby then starred in The CW network drama; Life Unexpected as Cate Cassidy, a radio talk show host whose daughter gets back into her life. The show was cancelled after two seasons.

Miss Ohio USA

Following her America's Next Top Model loss, Stewart entered the Miss Ohio USA 2004 competition held in late 2003. She was first runner-up to Lauren Kelsey Hall in that pageant. Stewart later competed again for the Miss Ohio USA 2006 crown in 2005, but Shannon Stewart only made the semi-finals. The title was won by Stacy Offenberger.

Stewart continued to model, and signed with Elite Models in Chicago and Major Model Management.

She has modeled for Nuj Novakhett, Elle Girl Magazine, Teen Vogue, Sydney Magazine, Six Degrees Magazine and Ford Fusion. Shannon has appeared on the cover of Arizona Foothills Magazine, and Sound & Vision Magazine. Her runway shows include: Richard Tyler, Alice and Olivia (2006), Sprite Street Couture (2006), and Elle Girl presents Dare To Be You: Wal-Mart Meets America's Next Top Models (2005), Fashion Institute of Technology (2006), Gustavo Arango (2006), Alice Dobson (2006) and Olympus Fashion Week (2006).

She is a devout Christian, doesn't drink or smoke and stayed a virgin until marrying. Stewart married fellow Christian model Matthew Ratliff in 2007 and they live in Plainfield, Indiana. She took his name and now goes by Shannon Ratliff.

Aahoo Jahansouz "Sarah" Shahi (born January 10, 1980) is an American actress and a former NFL Cheerleader. Sarah Shahi is probably best known for starring in The L Word as Carmen de la Pica Morales and in Life as Detective Dani Reese. In 2011 Sarah Shahi began playing the role of Kate Reed in the legal drama Fairly Legal on the USA Network.

Sarah Shahi was born and grew up in Euless, Texas. She has an Iranian father, Abbas Shahi, and a Spanish mother, known as Mahmonir, who was an interior designer. Her father's family was forced to leave their homeland two years before the political and social unrest caused by the Islamic Revolution. Her birthname, Aahoo, means "deer" in Persian.

Shahi adopted Sarah as her name in second grade after hearing the song "Sarah" because she was "tormented" by other children, but grew up speaking Persian as well as English at her father's insistence. Shahi's parents began entering her in beauty pageants at the age of eight. Her parents divorced when Sarah Shahi was 10. Shahi attended Trinity High School, where Sarah Shahi was captain of the volleyball and basketball teams, and Dallas' Southern Methodist University, majoring in English and Theater. Shahi won the Miss Fort Worth USA pageant in 1997; hoping to become an actress, Sarah Shahi joined the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders 1999–2000 squad despite not having cheered before, and appeared on the cover of the squad's 2000 calendar before moving to Los Angeles.

While working as an extra on the set of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to move to Hollywood, where she received roles in several series, including Alias, Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. Sarah Shahi may be best known for her role as DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which Sarah Shahi joined in its second season. Shahi did not renew her contract with the series for the fourth season, and consequently her character was written out. She also played Farah in the second season of Sleeper Cell, and also appeared in HBO's The Sopranos, in the Season 6b episode "Kennedy and Heidi".

Sarah Shahi co-starred in the short-lived NBC series Life as homicide detective Dani Reese.

In October 2009, Shahi landed the lead role in the USA Network pilot, Facing Kate. Shahi began filming in November 2009. The show follows the life of Kate Reed, a legal mediator who is frustrated with the bureaucracy and injustice Sarah Shahi witnesses in the legal system. The series title was later changed to Fairly Legal.
